Designing Success: A Spotlight on one of the Creative Minds Behind Our Marketing Magic

Hi, I’m Sam Howard! I’m one of the creative forces behind graphic and web design at ASH Interactive!

I was born and raised in Westfield, Indiana and now live in downtown Indianapolis. I went to Ball State University and studied Landscape Architecture for three years before realizing I enjoyed the designing aspect much more than the math, and switched majors. I graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Gen. Studies with an emphasis on Strategic Communication. During my time at Ball State, I was the Community Service Chair at my sorority and developed a strong passion for helping the local community. I wanted to continue to service local nonprofits and small businesses in my profession, so the mission we have at ASH resonates with me.

With 2 years at ASH under my belt, I've had the pleasure of working on a variety of projects. From crafting logos that perfectly encapsulate a brand to designing websites that tell the story of an organization, I thrive on turning ideas into visually compelling narratives.

I believe that by using my talents in graphics, I can convey the message of a brand to the world; I hope to amplify the voices of those in the nonprofit and marketing realm to spread their mission to those around them.

I take pride in the projects I've been a part of – each one different from the next. I am passionate about using design as a means of positive change. Collaborating with local non-profits and small businesses allows me to contribute my skills to meaningful causes.

When I’m not designing, I love to go hiking in new areas, travel, and spend time with those I love (including my two cats, Remy and Dori).
